Neil was admitted to the Bar in 1995 in both New York and New Jersey. He spent his first two years of practice with the New York City Economic Development Corporation acting as Senior Leasing Counsel. He went on to receive the 1996 Presidents Award for his work in commercial leasing.

Neil also served for one year as Associate Counsel at the law firm of Richards & O’Neil, LLP. Neil founded his own firm in 1998 and has been representing all types of clients in the area of transactional Real Estate.

Oren has been an associate at the firm since 2008. He focuses his practice on commercial and residential sales, purchases and refinances. Oren also has extensive experience representing private lenders, drafting and negotiating commercial leases and attending Environmental Control Board hearings.

While in law school, Oren was a member of Hofstra Law School’s Family Court Review and served as Managing Editor of Notes and Comments. His Note, entitled “I Want My Mommies”: The Cry for Mini-DOMAs to Recognize the Best Interests of the Children of Same-Sex Couples, was published in 45(2) FAM CT. REV. 287..
